Why We Launched Our LinkedIn 10x Service

Why We Launched Our LinkedIn 10x Service

In late 2020, we were excited to launch our LinkedIn 10x service. It was a strategic move for us, shifting towards services that focus on one social media platform, starting with LinkedIn, and we consider this be to be our flagship service.

After three years in business, serving many different clients, and experiencing what works and doesn’t work, we took a step back and looked at what we believed would be the most powerful repurposing service that we could offer.

Obviously, every client’s needs and goals are different, but here’s what we found...

The 4 pillars to a successful content repurposing strategy

We realized that there were four key elements or pillars that led to a truly successful content repurposing strategy.

We knew that a service that not only included but made the absolute most of each of these pillars would be the best of the best. That’s why we incorporated the following into our LinkedIn 10x service:

1. Video Content

You can repurpose many different types of content, but video is the most powerful.

Video provides more opportunities for repurposing than any other format. Videos can become shorter videos, audio, text, graphics…no other content covers quite as many mediums! It really is the very top of the content pyramid. Just read, The Visual Lounge, Livestreaming & Repurposing with Matt Pierce to hear our client, TechSmith, talk about why they chose video as their core content.

Video has many benefits outside of repurposing too. It’s the best way to build trust and engage your audience, it’s loved by social media platforms, and it’s a fantastic format to have on your website to help your audience feel like they know, like, and trust you. Plus, video can help with your website’s SEO too (more on that shortly).

We talk a lot about why video is the greatest content for repurposing:

2. Podcasting

2. Podcasting

For B2B businesses, having a B2B podcast has four benefits/goals – content marketing, authority building, networking/relationship building and conversion.

Hosting a weekly podcast focused on your topic of expertise shows that you know what you’re talking about and you’re credible. Podcasts can provide a deeper way to connect with your audience and customers and are great for getting your point across.

According to Edison Research – The Infinite Dial 2022 – 43% of people listen to podcasts on a monthly basis (research is based on adults in the USA). Weekly online audio listening also rose to 67%, up from 62% in 2021. Overall, the research concludes that podcasts have significantly grown, and listeners are continuing to diversify.

Having a podcast will help you reach new people. And the best thing is, if you’re already creating a video (video is the core content in our LinkedIn 10x service), you automatically have audio. So, why not use it?

By combining video content and a podcast, you can improve conversion rates. This makes the sales process much smoother because, by the time people reach out to you, they've already been watching your videos or listening to your podcast. They already feel like they know, like and trust you – which is half the battle!

Many people prefer listening to podcasts to watching videos. Podcasts are super convenient. They provide a hands-free way of consuming content, i.e. you can do other things when listening to a podcast. Wouldn’t it be great to become the podcast that your audience love to listen to when commuting, walking the dog, doing the housework, exercising...etc?

With our clients, we found that by breaking into the podcasting world, they accessed an audience who may never have had time for them if they’d only created videos.

A podcast can help you stand out from your competition. There might not be any other podcasts covering your topic in your industry. So you’ll have the market share of the audience.

If there are other podcasts in your niche, don’t sweat it. That just goes to show that the people you’re trying to reach listen to podcasts. It’s not about being “the first” or “the only.”

We’ve been working with Mike Richards, CEO of The Treasury Recruitment Company ever since the launch of his podcast – Treasury Career Corner. In this article, you can read all about how launching a podcast in a super-niche industry helped Mike to grow his personal brand and the brand of his business, how he elevated his position in his industry and established relationships that grew his business.

To sum up: podcasting is powerful. And don’t worry if you don’t know much about it. When you work with us, we’ll walk you through each step and help you launch one (in just three weeks!)

3. SEO

3. SEO

SEO (search engine optimization) is a key component of any good content strategy and can have a huge impact on your business. In fact, 57% of B2B marketers say that SEO generates more leads than any other marketing approach.

When you need the answer to a question, where do you go? Google.

When you need to solve a problem, where do you go? Google.

When you need to find a business/supplier to hire, where do you go? Google.

When your potential customers are searching online, you want to make sure you turn up in those search results.

93% of online experiences begin with a search engine.

Our LinkedIn 10x service helps clients with SEO from a Google and YouTube perspective.

We upload your video to YouTube and take care of YouTube complexities - custom thumbnails, description, keywords, tags...etc.

We also write a long-form SEO-focused blog post. Having a high-quality blog post posted to your site every week will do wonders for your chances of getting found in search results. Your blog post will include your video, and this helps with on-page SEO – it’s proven to increase on-page engagement.

How’s this for a statistic, the average user spends 88% more time on a website with video (Source: Oberlo stats).

Google owns YouTube, so it’s more likely to return YouTube results than sites not owned by Google. I’m sure you’ve noticed video thumbnails are all over search results. By uploading your content to both your website and YouTube, your content stands a better chance of getting found.

4. LinkedIn

4. LinkedIn

We analyzed where our clients were getting the most traction on social media, and the answer was clear. LinkedIn is THE platform that really moves the needle for our clients and can be directly linked to business growth. So, it’s no wonder that it’s the platform that excites us the most.

LinkedIn is undoubtedly the most powerful B2B social media platform there is. It’s where people go to build relationships, share their expertise, and get noticed in their industry.

It’s a far cry from the small professional networking site it once was, where it was mainly about recruitment. Its transformation into a networking AND content platform has been remarkable. LinkedIn includes video content, livestreaming, images, articles and carousels.

LinkedIn is the social media platform where video gets the most attention organically (i.e. with no advertising spend). Hence why we thought video as the core content for our LinkedIn 10x service made so much sense (plus all the other reasons listed in this article).

So, if you’re on LinkedIn and your clients are on LinkedIn, then our LinkedIn 10x service can help you become a leading authority in your industry.

Be sure to check out:

Because our LinkedIn 10x service covers all four of the pillars: video, podcasting, SEO, and LinkedIn - that’s why we passionately believe it’s a total game-changer.

How our LinkedIn 10x service could level-up your business

Our LinkedIn 10x service requires you to provide us with one video per week.

From that one video, we create…

  • An edited video, with a custom video thumbnail and video description/show notes
  • A professionally edited podcast episode, with show notes
  • A long-form SEO-focused blog post, with blog post artwork
  • Social media graphics – sharing killer quotes and engaging questions
  • Short teaser videos – with titles and captions
  • Copywriting for all assets – for LinkedIn, YouTube, your podcast host and website
  • 2 Engaging LinkedIn text posts
  • …and we handle all publishing

This includes uploading your video to YouTube with a description, thumbnail, hashtags, tags, and all of the other bells and whistles needed for your video to get found. Plus, publishing your blog post to your website, with a meta-description, featured images, assigning categories, tags etc. We also handle your podcast host upload, and post it to LinkedIn (we research the best hashtags to use for more impact).

The publishing alone saves our clients many hours of work.

The array of social media assets we provide includes video, graphics, and text-only posts because we see all types perform differently – and we want to give our clients content the best chance of success. We often see text-only posts outperform others on LinkedIn from an engagement perspective, so they come as standard with our LinkedIn 10x service.

Why choose Content 10x to repurpose your videos

All of the content that we create takes hours of expert work to produce. Doing this in-house would eat into so much of your and your team’s time – time that could be better spent elsewhere.

But it’s not just about time, it’s about having the expertise as well.

Our end-to-end repurposing service replaces hiring a video editor, copywriter, podcast producer, graphic designer, project manager, SEO specialist, publisher, copy editor, quality control, plus investment in HR, tools and software.

We have experts in each of these areas to give your content the repurposing treatment it deserves. And if you were to hire all these people individually or train your team in all of these areas…it would cost you a lot!

We’ve written a post all about the alternatives to working with us, including what it would take to create all of this content yourself. If you want to learn more about that, click here.

What our LinkedIn 10x service does for our clients

Peace of Mind Wealth Management is just one of our clients utilizing our LinkedIn 10x service. After they first launched their video podcast, Secure Your Retirement, they realized they wanted to maximize their content and came to us for a solution.

They were a perfect match for our LinkedIn 10x service. So, we worked with them to repurpose not one but two episodes a week. More than 10xing their content output!

Find out what Radon Stancil, founder of Peace of Mind Wealth Management and co-host of the Secure Your Retirement podcast had to say about working with us and our service.

Is our LinkedIn 10x service for you?

There are some final things to bear in mind about our service. If you’re using other social platforms as well as LinkedIn, that’s fine! We encourage you to share all the assets we create for you wherever you see fit – they are yours, after all!

And we know that video isn’t for everyone. If you don’t want to be in front of the camera, then we have other services like Podcast 10x, which might be a better fit. We also have a library full of resources to help you get comfortable with creating video.

But, if you’re interested in tapping into the power of video content, this service is for you, and we'd love to speak!
