Digital Copywriter

We are looking for an enthusiastic Digital Copywriter to join the Content 10x team, initially on a part-time basis (15 hours per week).

Every day you would be working with a diverse mix of blogs, podcasts, videos and other social media content. The role is home-based and offers a good degree of flexibility on work pattern (across Mon-Fri) , in exchange for which we seek someone who is reliable and has a flair for copywriting.

About us

Content 10x is a fast-paced boutique digital agency specializing in content repurposing. We work with small businesses and entrepreneurs, repurposing their unique online content into different media and formats to help them reach new audiences and grow their business. 

Our service is delivered by a virtual team of specialists – writers, graphic designers, video editors, audio editors, podcast producers, content planners…etc.

The position reports offers a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the exciting world of digital content repurposing.

The job  

As Digital Copywriter you would be responsible for writing high quality content to tight deadlines. Content will be both long- and short-form across various media – blog posts, emails, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter…etc.

Your copywriting skills will be used to write blog posts, articles, podcast and video show notes, engaging social media copy, landing pages/sales pages, slides…and lots more interesting content!  

You will create written content for Content 10x as well as our clients.

Repurposing is what we do, so as well as creating written content for our clients, you will also be responsible for liaising and collaborating with our creative and content management teams.

The job requires an exceptional ability to adjust style and tone as you will be working with a wide range of clients from around the globe in different industries.

The person

Your super powers:

  • Exceptional copywriting skills, including experience producing web content (blogs, Facebook, LinkedIn, SlideShare, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube…etc)
  • Genuine interest in continuously developing as a copywriter - you will be passionate about writing and care about producing perfect words
  • Highly articulate with an excellent command of spoken and written English, plus the ability to understand and simplify content
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding time management skills; able to work to tight deadlines
  • Experience or desire to work independently in a virtual team
  • Takes direction constructively
  • Ability to bring new ideas to the table – we strive to constantly innovate/improve and we want to work with people who share our passion

Salary – up to £22,000 per annum for full-time (will be pro-rated based on part-time hours).

Digital Content Coordinator

We are looking for a Digital Content Coordinator to join the team. Every day you would be working with blogs, podcasts, videos, social media and other online content for ourselves and our clients. The role is part-time (15-20 hours per week, to be agreed), home-based and offers a degree of flexibility on work pattern (must be available to work Mon-Fri).

Our service is delivered by a virtual team of specialists – writers, graphic designers, video editors, audio editors, podcast producers, content planners…etc. The Digital Content Coordinator plays a key role in bringing everything and everyone together. As Digital Content Coordinator you would report directly into our Content Manager,.

The person

Is this you?

The Friends character that you most identify with is Monica. You are incredibly organized; in fact, you really enjoy organization. In a team you transform chaos into order and ensure no balls are dropped. (note: you don’t have to be female…just very organized!).

You have insane attention to detail. You could spot a typo or a misaligned image in a blink!

You are tech-savvy. You are digitally intuitive and you’re the kind of person who picks up new online tools, software, websites etc with ease.

You are a problem solver and an independent self-starter. You are the kind of person who meets a problem, gets onto Google or YouTube etc, and solves the problem. Bish, bash, bosh.

You are interested in the world of social media and online content. You use social media personally and you tend to head online to blogs etc to learn about things. Ideally you are interested in podcasts too and digital marketing.

The job  

The Digital Content Manager is responsible for two key things.

  • 1
    Planning, coordinating and collating the work of other team members to ensure that everything is completed on time
  • 2
    The accurate and timely publication of content onto websites, social media, email…etc

The roles involves:

  • Working with our project management system, Trello
  • Liaising with the rest of the team – providing updates on work that needs to be completed and the status of ongoing work
  • Setting up, formatting and publishing content in WordPress and in email management systems
  • Acting as quality control by proofreading posts before they are published, looking for typos, errors etc
  • Posting content onto social media platforms, email service providers, podcast hosts and YouTube
  • Ensuring that we are always focused on brand consistency and quality
  • Other cool things!

Tools used (experience desirable but not essential)

  • Project management system – Trello
  • Website – WordPress  (experience in posting content a big bonus, particularly using Themes and content builders like Thrive and Divi)
  • Social Media scheduling tool - Buffer
  • Email Management system - Active Campaign, Mailchimp & Click Funnels
  • Document storage – Dropbox
