WorldDAB is the global industry forum for DAB digital radio. They facilitate the adoption and implementation of broadcast digital radio based on DAB across Europe, Asia Pacific and beyond – providing solutions and advice on all aspects of the switch from analogue to digital radio

They hold multiple events each year, including The WorldDAB Summit and the WorldDAB Automotive Event. These bring together car manufacturers, broadcasters and radio network operators, to discuss the key issues around radio today – from ensuring radio remains prominent in the digital dashboard and in the connected car going forward, to opportunities for radio in established and new markets.

In 2021, WorldDAB ran a survey on the attitudes of car buyers towards the importance of radio on the dashboard. They communicated about it at the time of launch through all the regular channels, but in the run-up to the WorldDAB Automotive Event 2022, they felt it held huge potential as a marketing tool – they wanted to raise awareness of the importance of DAB radios being in cars, and the DAB radio industry and automotive industries continuing to work together.

This survey contained the public feedback they needed. Because, if cars stop being manufactured with radios, then radio moves closer towards extinction…

So, after hearing Content 10x founder Amy Woods speak at the RadioDays Europe 2021 event, they got in touch about a repurposing plan to spread their message far and wide.

We repurposed the survey into engaging social media content, promoting the annual events. 


We then went onto repurpose event content from the World DAB Automotive 2022 event, which was held in London in June 2022, and the WorldDAB Summit 2022, in October.

Why was this the perfect solution?

Achieving objectives

From the survey, we created social media posts, quote graphics and social media videos for their Twitter and LinkedIn pages, which helped to achieve their goal of creating a big buzz around the WorldDAB Automotive 2022 event.

Multimedia repurposing


Our repurposing experts worked their magic and the result was numerous social media videos, engaging quote graphics and social media posts for LinkedIn and Twitter, which we distributed on their behalf.

Perfect repurpose-able content!

The two hybrid events gathered international speakers with the overall aim of spreading the good news of DAB radio worldwide. Fortunately, both events captured the keynote talks and discussions on video, enabling them to be repurposed.

Extending the life of the content

It’s easy to say on Twitter, "download our presentations here", but what we wanted to do was brings these bite-sized chunks of repurposed content – whether in graphic, video or text format – back to life to reach and engage a wider audience.

Working closely with WorldDAB, our team of experts breathed new life into their Car Buyers Survey and the events that followed, transforming the content into a multitude of on-brand marketing materials, enabling them to reach a far wider audience with their important message. Plus, it inspired many other results:
