Why We May Not Be a Good Fit for You

Why we may not be a good for for you

Are we right for you and your content repurposing needs?

We love working with businesses and brands from all over the world – repurposing content and giving it new life, to help our clients reach more people, establish connections, and have an impact.

However, we’re not a “one-size-fits-all” business, and we want to ensure we are right for you before you commit.

So, are we a good fit for you? Let’s find out…

WHO WE ARE FOR:

  • People who recognize content is a long game
  • Businesses with budget to invest in content
  • Those who want to create great content
  • People who are organized and timely with their content delivery
  • Confident and clear communicators
  • People who understand and appreciate our expertise
  • Businesses ready to commit to creating content

WHO WE ARE NOT FOR:

  • People looking for a quick fix
  • Businesses with no budget
  • Anyone with unrealistic expectations
  • People who don't want to create content themselves
  • The disorganized or those who can't get content to us on time
  • People who aren't good communicators
  • Anyone not prepared to invest in high quality content
  • Those who don't respect our time
  • Anyone looking for occasional small repurposing tasks

We’re not for you if…

…you need a quick fix

Content marketing is a long game. It won’t skyrocket you to the top of your industry’s leaderboard overnight, but you will reap the benefits in the months and years to come.

Content repurposing is an investment, and the ROI will last a long time. It will also increase your audience reach, boost your SEO, and help you gain authority and credibility within your niche.

It can help you with conversions too – making for a shorter and smoother sales process. How? Because when you become a person of influence in your industry you gain people’s trust.

This is why we say it's not a quick solution. It all takes time, so if you’re willing to invest in content repurposing, the payoff will be worth it.

Still on the fence about whether content repurposing is worth the investment? Here are a couple of articles that might help you make up your mind:

…you can’t afford our services

When you work with us, our team essentially becomes your team. Everything we create is customized and tailored around your brand, your voice, and your specific goals. We operate as an extension of your business. That’s why we enjoy long-term working relationships with our clients.

Our services are an investment, and you are investing in expertise.

Our content repurposing services start from $4500 per month and go up to upward of $8000 per month, and our prices reflect the amount of time and effort involved in delivering a complex, high-quality service to our clients.

…you don’t want to create content

We do take A LOT of work off your hands, but for our standard service, you will need to create the core content (video or audio).

We can’t repurpose your content if there is no content to repurpose. You create the original content, then we take it from there.

If you don’t have the time or have other worries about creating content, we can help. We offer a premium service called Video 10x Exec to help you efficiently create high-quality video or audio content for repurposing. An experienced member of our team will conduct a relaxed, conversational interview with you once every two weeks, lasting around 30 minutes. From this, we’ll create all the assets you need for a comprehensive content repurposing strategy.

If you are new to creating content, then here are some useful resources and articles:

…won't be able to get content to us on time

We work on tight deadlines and need your content on time every week.

When we take you through our onboarding process, we’ll agree on a day that you’ll get content to us every week. It’s even better if you can batch-create your content and get a bunch of episodes to us all at once!

Clients who do this best usually do one of the following:

  • Put aside one morning/afternoon per month to create a batch of videos for the month ahead
  • Have a weekly livestream or guest interview slot that runs like clockwork
  • Diarize video or audio recordings every week or two weeks and stick to it

Whichever you decide to do, we need your content in a timely manner so that we can fulfill your service.

We ensure smooth processes by setting aside time each week to work on your content – if you don’t send it over by the agreed deadline, this can put extra pressure on our team and require us to find time that simply doesn’t exist. As such, late content = a missed week. No one wants that. We can’t offer a refund or carry-over for a missed week because you pay for a retainer on the team. We are always there to remind you content is due, so you don’t forget!

It’s very rare for a client to miss a week – when you work with us, we save you SO much time overall that it’s much easier to find your content creating rhythm.

…communication isn’t your strong point

Good communication is key to building strong relationships, which is exactly what we want with our clients! We’ve put a lot of time and energy into developing a comprehensive onboarding process so that we can all get on the same page and avoid any disappointment or frustration later down the line.

We give our clients lots of opportunities to share everything we need to succeed. This includes brand guidelines, style and tone of voice guidance, files, access to platforms, and anything else we may need to set our relationship up for success. After this, we’re VERY light-touch and will work as the autonomous content repurposing arm of your business.

But we need you to dedicate the time to us at the beginning so you can get us everything necessary to effectively repurpose your content. And, if you’ve got any special requests or changes you want us to make, we want you to communicate those too.

…you’re not creating high-quality content

You don’t need to create a Scorsese masterpiece, but using a decent camera to film your videos or a professional microphone to record your podcast makes a world of difference. If your content is grainy, blurry, poorly lit, poorly produced, etc., there’s only so much we can do – we are not miracle workers! So, we ask that you provide high-quality video and images to help us produce the very best results (we will guide you on all of this).

We are on standby to offer tips and advice on how to create quality content and what equipment you may need.

Here are some resources that you might find useful:

…you don’t have a content strategy

We aren’t responsible for your overall content strategy. You need to know who you are communicating with, what you want to be known for, what problems you solve, what the next steps should be that fit into your sales funnel, etc.

We help you implement your strategy. When you’re committed to your content strategy, you produce better content which is a win:win situation when working with us.

…you don’t value what goes into our service

We’re a niche creative agency comprised of writers, designers, video editors, podcast producers, copy editors, project managers and publishers, all with refined skillsets and years of experience. We always appreciate working with clients who recognize what goes into our services and what they get in return.

If you’re weighing up our service against hiring a VA or signing up for automated tools, that’s absolutely fine. But we’re not the same thing. These articles may help give you a better idea of the service we provide and why it's so worthwhile:

…you have a one-off job

Our end-to-end services aren’t suitable for small, one-off pieces of work due to the amount of time and effort we put into onboarding our clients. This doesn't include projects such as a podcast season - we are more than happy to work on, for example, a 10-episode podcast season. We also repurpose events - virtual and in-person events - so if you are running an event and you want lots of content created off the back of it, then please get in touch.

The only other exception is our Talk 10x service for speakers. Find out more about that here.

We provide lots of free content on our blog, podcast, and weekly newsletter to help you repurpose your content yourself.

Or, if you’re looking for a step-by-step introduction to content repurposing, then our book, Content 10x: More Content, Less Time, Maximum Results, can help. Finally, The Content 10x Toolkit is our most comprehensive guide to content repurposing, and perfect for anyone looking to do a complete end-to-end service themselves for videos or podcasts.

However, if after reading this article you know that our services ARE right for you, find out everything about them out here – we’d LOVE to hear from you!
